One of many faces

these are a few snapshots from resurrection Sunday. We had a lunch/dinner at my Aunts house. We had a pretty good time :)

I hope this doesn’t show how prideful I am. I love my sweet puddin’ pop. She brings smiles all the time :) I have so many picture of her. I can’t get enough either. She just keeps getting cuter and cuter. “She’s so stinkin’ cute,” as my mother says. And she’s only the first grandchild. I wonder how it will continue with the rest… hehehe… bahahah… tehehehe… we will spoil them, too!!!

Almost every weekend I trek home to my parents. And I get to see my most beautiful family. the one we all love the most is puddin’ head, pumpkin, asia, fat girl,… Anastasia! She is so cute! and growing up so fast. Last weekend was her nine month marker. She can crawl now and is trying for more advanced big girl things. She thinks she can walk, but in reality she can barely stand on her own. she got a bump on her head because she decided she could stand on her own. She let go and fell right on her little noggin. It bruised, but looks great. Only a few dark spots now, but it is disappearing rapidly.

She amazes me with how fast she learns. and what she does to learn them. She takes risks like no other kid I’ve seen. On Saturday night, I was over at my sisters house bringing the baby back to her. I was hanging out talking and playing with Anastasia. Ok, she has some really awesome toys. On is this rocker, car type things. It makes noises like a car and everything, has all the little gadgets. We put her on it, since she can’t strattle it herself yet. We looked away for a second to chat and when we looked back at her, she was standing on the little ledges. It looked like she was a BMX rider doing a stunt! We couldn’t believe she was doing this. She still had her hands on the steering wheel and was dancing, chugging away, like it was no big deal. Like if you could talk she would say, “Look at me mom. i am so amazing. Don’t worry ’bout me falling. I got it ALL under control.” HA. we stared in disbelief. Then she went farther. She put on foot on the seat and continued to “ride” her toy. We were flabbergasted. A nine month old is doing stunts! :) ) She did fall… but not until she tried to get off. She wasn’t that graceful :p

Then today at Gama’s (my moms house), she stood facing the wall. licking it! yes, i said licking the wall. She got a hold of a spoon and hit the wall too. For almost 10 minutes she stood a the wall, talking to it, licking it and hitting it. It was HILARIOUS!! Man did she have some words to say. She went on and on and on, telling the wall (and my brother who was right there) everything she thought. It brought so much joy to watch her express herself. how fun would that be for me. Why can’t I stand and lick a wall without someone thinking I’m weird. maybe someday…

I love my niece. She is one of a kind. :) Kisses sweet girl
